Avid Controls
To complement the extensive range of valves and actuators manufactured and marketed by Tyco Flow Control, a comprehensive range of control accessories, known as the Tyco AVID ® range, is now available enabling the provision of a total, integrated control system from one source.
The AVID ® (Automated Valve Interface Devices) range incorporates Position Monitors, Analogue (Electro Pneumatic) and ’Smart’ Positioners, Control Position Monitors and Network System PlantNet ® Monitors providing a range of control possibilities from simple valve position indication to complete, integrated Network Systems.
Positioners
The range of control positioners offers a variety of solutions to the precise positioning of rotary and linear pneumatic actuators. These positioners are suitable for use with double acting and spring return actuators and are mounted to the actuator housing using NAMUR(VDI/VDE 3845) standards.
These units also provide the simplest form of installation and calibration as standard, without the requirement for additional equipment.
